Recorded in 1961 for the album Blue Hawaii. The melody for the song is based on “Plaisir d’amour” a popular French love song composed in 1784 by Jean-Paul-Egide Martini. Can’t Help Falling in Love was also the last song Elvis performed live, at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis on June 26th, 1977.
